Pool Table Installation
Assembly, shimming and cloth, for a table that is staying where it is.
Plenty of tables sit in the right room for months without being playable. Delivered in pieces, bought used, inherited with the house, or taken apart by somebody who never came back for the second visit.
Frame built and squared, slate bolted, seams filled and worked flush, cloth stretched and fitted, level set. The shimming is where the hours go, because a basement slab is poured with a deliberate fall so water runs to the drain, which is right for a basement and wrong for a billiard table.
What installation includes
What the visit covers.
- Frame and legs built and squared, set clear of walls and the support posts basements always have.
- Slate bolted down, seams filled and worked until a ball crosses them without a sound.
- Cloth across the bed, fitted round the rails, pockets back in.
- Rails refitted and the cushion rubber checked while it is off.
- Level read bare and read again with cloth on.
Basement posts land in awkward places. Say where yours are and the layout is settled before the frame goes together rather than after.
What finished looks like
We here at Kansas City Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. On a home to home move we do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table, and we will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
